I'm Starting To See (Studio Demo)

lyrics

It was just the other day, when I had a dream about an old friend named Katey
On the shoulder of a highway, we had nothing on our backs
I must have told a good joke, cause I remember her laugh
But we just kept on talking as the cars went whizzing by

I don’t think that a day goes by, where we are not left wanting for more
Well we can steal some objects, it don’t matter if we do
And we can steal some ideas, as long as they ring true
The world can forgive but we seldom forget our own crimes
… and I think that’s why

I’m starting to see how life is nothing but poetry and the means to the light

I just can’t find the right words to use, to show others how I feel about these common day issues
I just keep hashing things out, and then throwing them away
I don’t know if I know anything, but if there’s one thing I’ll say
It’s ”get ready for a revolution because it’s coming soon!”

I know time talks
Since the truth keeps
Re-directing
My priorities
And my questions
Almost everyday
I’m happy to say

That I’m starting to see how life is nothing but poetry and the means to the light
